Found out today that getting a set of carbon fibre chassis and mech deck fabricated in the UK is silly money. Contacted the guy selling them on e-bay and that helpfully told me he was away until the 15th Nov so fingers crossed I'll get a reply soon, but I've got a feeling he's just got a handful of chassis left as indicated by his ebay page which also states that he's not getting any more made. I may be able to blag a copy of the CAD files he used to get them cut to make it cheaper for me in the UK. I may post on tamiyaclub.com to see if I can get a group of people to chip in and get 10 or 20 made up to bring costs down.
Otherwise I'm going to make a computer controlled milling machine :-)
