Next on the shopping list is some new rubber. Luckily there are several re-released models that use the same rubber as the Superchamp. Shouldn't cost much more than £25 for a complete set. Waiting to see how well the chrome rims cover up the original plastic ones before splashing out.
Will get a very fine paint pen and do the letting properly. Looking back at the splodgy mess on the sidewall of the wheels, I really think I must have been into making home brew cider around that time.
Oddly it had a set of 4 back tires from the Rough Rider. I think the Ford F150 truck had 4 the same - maybe I was aiming for that look.
